Leasing Commenced in January
Willow Bridge Property Co., the property manager for Barrett Lo, is overseeing the leasing process for The Couture. The apartments offer a range of options, from 576-square-foot one-bedroom units to spacious three-bedroom residences spanning 2,350 square feet. Rent prices start at $2,045, with the penthouse, boasting 2,344 interior square feet and a 348-square-foot terrace, already leased for an impressive $11,585 per month. Additionally, the commercial space within the building is expected to house a restaurant and other businesses, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Aesthetic Appeal and Modern Living
Every apartment at The Couture is designed to maximize natural light and breathtaking views, with floor-to-ceiling windows and custom wood cabinetry. The Couture project was first unveiled in July 2012 but encountered delays due to legal challenges and financing issues. However, these challenges were largely overcome, and the 2.2-acre site was sold for a below-market price of $500,000 to facilitate the development.
After obtaining necessary approvals and resolving legal matters, Barrett Lo finally closed the sale in 2016. The project secured financing in November 2020 when the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development issued a loan guarantee. Now, after nearly three years of construction, The Couture is set to open in April, with the entire building expected to be completed by July.
