Coming from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, it didn't take long for me to adjust to the year-round balmy weather and warm Pacific waters of the Papagayo region. Retirement wasn't in my plans, so I decided to take a real estate course and combine my love for the ocean by offering snorkeling and sunset tours aboard my catamaran, the Spanish Dancer. Over the past three years, our real estate market has been bustling with activity, with numerous villa, condo, and residential lot sales in all price ranges. Although inventory has declined in some price ranges, new developments like Monte Mar in Playas del Coco offer clients a wide variety of residential lots with new housing projects underway. In Playa Panama, Hacienda del Mar offers ocean view and valley view lots, with several homes currently under construction and available for sale.
