In this article, I will review the pros and cons of joining REAL Broker, LLC to help you decide if a cloud-based brokerage is the right fit for you. While there are trade-offs, I ultimately believe the benefits outweigh them. However, everyone's conclusion may differ.

CON: No Face-To-Face Interaction

Giving up in-person, face-to-face interaction with fellow agents is a trade-off when joining a cloud-based brokerage like REAL Broker. However, virtual communication tools such as Zoom have allowed me to connect with clients efficiently. While it may not be the same as being in the same room, it offers convenience and saves time. Agents who value social interaction might initially find it challenging to adjust. However, joining associations, attending networking events, and participating in social activities can help scratch that social itch.

If necessary, renting office space or using conference rooms at title companies or lenders' offices can fulfill the need for a professional setting.

PRO: Lower Cap and Splits
