Explore the Types of MIRA REALTOR® Membership

REALTORS® (or Brokers) - Primary Membership

If you're a licensed Real Estate Broker seeking membership with MIRA, you must be sponsored by a current MIRA member who is also a managing broker. Your managing broker's MIRA membership is a prerequisite for your own membership application. To join MIRA as a primary member, complete the "REALTOR®" new member application. Ensure it is signed by your managing broker and submit it along with a copy of your license (or 45-day permit sponsor card) and full payment of all applicable fees. As a primary member, you'll be responsible for paying local, state, and national dues to MIRA.

REALTORS® (or Brokers) - Secondary Membership

Licensed Real Estate Brokers whose state and national dues are remitted through another board can become secondary members of MIRA. To apply for secondary membership, complete the "REALTOR®" new member application. Ensure it is signed by your managing broker and submit it along with a letter of good standing from your primary board, a copy of your license, and payment of all applicable fees. Please note that MLS services will only be available if your Designated REALTOR® participates in the MLS.

Managing Brokers - Primary Membership

Licensed Real Estate Managing Brokers who wish to join MIRA must complete the New Member Application, providing a copy of their license and full payment of all applicable fees. Managing brokers can either be self-sponsored or the managing broker of a licensed office. If the firm has a name different from their own, they must also submit a copy of their office's license or DBA/articles of incorporation from the Secretary of State's office. If the office is not currently a member of MIRA, a new office application along with payment of the applicable fees must also be completed. Managing brokers who wish to participate in the MLS exclusively need to submit an MIRA participation form and the corresponding fees. It is worth noting that a licensed Real Estate Managing Broker who is not the managing broker of their sponsoring office has the same membership conditions as a broker.

Appraiser Membership

Licensed Real Estate Appraisers can join MIRA by submitting a completed new member application, including a copy of their license, and full payment of all applicable fees. Similar to the other membership types, MLS services will only be available if the principal, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the principal participates in the MLS. If the office is not currently a member of MIRA, a new office application along with the corresponding fees must be completed.
