Introduction
Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day by shining a light on the women who are making waves in the furnishing and design industry here in London. While every day should be a celebration of women, International Women’s Day provides the perfect opportunity to honor the successful and inspirational women in interior design. At Pepper Sq., we are fascinated by their stories and want to share them with you. These women have shown us that through planning, training, and perseverance, success can be achieved in any field.
Nicky Percival
Nicky Percival's journey in interior design began with her mother, who was also an interior designer. Her eclectic style draws inspiration from culture and nature, and she takes pride in mixing colors, textures, periods, and styles to create personalized designs for each client.
Nicky’s Top Tip for anyone starting their career in interior design:
Kathryn Seaton-Reid
Kathryn Seaton-Reid's path to interior design was unconventional. Despite having a successful career in the media industry, she decided to retrain as an interior designer when she had to design her own flat. She describes her style as contemporary but timeless, and draws inspiration from Japanese, Scandinavian, and Italian designs. Kathryn focuses on finding the balance between comfort, longevity, and aesthetics in her designs, and loves molding them to each client's personality and appetite for risk.
